  1. I think the speed and rhythm are too brisk and “jazzy” for stanzas 1 and 2, which are lamentation. Stanzas 1 & 2 should be sung slowly as befits a lament. Interlude… shift to cut time for the 3rd. (I used to preach in a church that had organists who did this type of thing, and the congregation followed). 🙂
